Join us for this free webinar and find out…

  • What artists and producers should be asking labels and distributors.
  • What songwriters and composers should be asking publishers and PRS.
  • What you need to know about metadata to get credited and paid.
  • What you need to know about songwriter per diems.
  • What you need to know about contract renegotiation.
  • How copyright law needs to change to better protect all music-makers.

This is a free webinar from the Council Of Music Makers for members of the Featured Artists Coalition, The Ivors Academy, the Musicians’ Union, the Music Producers Guild and the Music Managers Forum on the economics of music streaming.

We will update artists, musicians, songwriters, composers, producers and their managers, lawyers and accountants on what they need to know about the ongoing work to build a more equitable music streaming business.

For nearly five years now, the CMM organisations have been involved in various government-led initiatives to address issues around streaming transparency, data and remuneration. This has resulted in platforms, labels, distributors and publishers making some commitments to address some of the issues.

We now need music-makers and their managers to utilise and test these commitments – while we also start to campaign for copyright law reform to address the many issues that remain. Join us to find out how you can play your role to help fix streaming.

To join the webinar live – including a Q&A session – sign up using the form below. We will publish a full schedule for the session in early March.
